Welcome to the home page for the Indiana County YMCA Piranha Swim Team. "THE PIRANHAS" are members of the Western PA YMCA Swim League (WPYSL).   The WPYSL is  a league of competitive YMCA swim teams in Western Pennsylvania. The  league was formed to promote swimming competition and the values of the YMCA.  The purpose of the YMCA swim league is to provide an opportunity for the team members to develop competitive swimming skills, good sportsmanship, team spirit, and self-confidence in a competitive team environment. 

We are a Division I team that competes during the winter and summer seasons.  The winter season begins in late September and runs through March, the summer season begins in May and runs through August.
