Classes accommodate the non-swimmer AND intermediate swimmer.

30-MINUTE PRIVATE SWIMMING LESSONS

PIRANHA SUMMER SWIM TEAM  (Ages 5-18, Members Only!)

Learn teamwork, dedication, responsibility, respect, & self-confidence. Swimmers train according to ability, yet compete in their own age bracket. Stroke development, technique,& conditioning are emphasized.
Mon – Fri 
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm  Until school is out then 10:00 am – 11:30 am.

Program Fee: $93.00 plus a YMCA membership.

LIFEGUARD TRAINING CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

This program certifies participants as Red Cross Lifeguards.

  • CPR for the Professional Rescuer & First Aid certifications included.
  • Participants must be 15 years old before the end of the program and pass a prerequisite skills test.
  • The test includes: a 500 yard swim, brick retrieval, and 8 minute tread.
  • Classes meet on Sundays from 10:00am - 6:00pm and will last up to 4 weeks.
  • All students must bring: Lifeguard Training Textbook, and pocket mask to first class.

These may be purchased at the American Red Cross Office in Indiana.

$100.00 member

$150.00 future member

 

SCUBA

SCUBA CLASSES

  • This program will certify participants as scuba divers!
  • 30 hours of professional instruction with Underwater Adventures
  • Includes classroom, pool, and open water training.

INDIANA COUNTY YMCA SCUBA CLUB

The Scuba Club meets the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. After each meeting, club members will dive inthe pool to practice and advance skills. Local, out ofstate, and out of country diving trips will be planned.
Come join the fun of underwater adventure!!
